This summer kids yoga class is best suited for children ages 4-6. We invite children to practice pranayama (awareness of breath) and asana (yoga postures) using imaginative play, songs, and story telling. Children will be led through a yoga sequence designed to enhance their self awareness and regulation as well as gain strength, flexibility and balance of the body and mind.
Sarah is a mother to three young children and an early childhood teacher. She completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training in 2011 and has been incorporating mindfulness and yoga in her classroom work since.
